Sean Burgess has created history by running 650 kms in 7 days covering all the 7 emirates in the UAE. Sean was motivated to attempt the 7 Emirates Challenge as a way to unify the people of the UAE following a difficult 2020, whilst inspiring others to take on their own challenges in the New Year. Sean will be raising money for Soft Power Education.
The challenge starts at Al Ghuwaifat, where the UAE and Saudi borders meet.
From here, Sean will follow the E11 highway up the coast, through Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman to Umm Al Quwain.
The route then crosses from coast to coast, passing through the Ras Al-Khaimah emirate, before going over the Hajar mountain range to finish in Fujairah.
Altogether, the 650km route will travel from the west to the east of the UAE, passing through all seven emirates.
Running and walking for up to 20 hours a day, Sean finished within 7 days claiming the Guinness World Record for the ‘Fastest crossing of the United Arab Emirates on foot’.

Sturdy Products have introduced its Tidy store range of products to the Dubai market. As part of an ongoing trial, these units were installed at the Zoom store on Tripoli Street in Dubai.
The tidy store units have helped the Zoom stores in ensuring the store fronts are kept organized and safe. The products are displayed in a manner that attracts customer’s attention and thereby improving the sales of these units.
The roller shutter doors on the tidy stores helps the store to keep the products safe and clean especially during rains or sand storms. By end of this year, the Zoom management team said the tidy stores units will become part of all the zoom stores across the country.
